Main ingredient: Esomeprazole.
Drug class: Proton Pump Inhibitors.
Indications and Strengths:
Indications:
• Acid reflux in the esophagus: with irritation and inflammation, strength: 20mg, duration of use: 1 time / day, for 4-8 weeks (can continue taking the drug according to the patient's symptoms).
• Used to prevent ulcers and inflammation in the esophagus, strength: 20mg, 1 time / day, for 4 weeks.
• Non-inflamed reflux esophagitis (oak heartburn), strength: 20mg or 40mg, duration of use: 1 time/day, for 4 weeks (can be continued for another 4-8 weeks depending on the patient's symptoms)
• Use a combination of three drugs to kill Helicobacter pylori:
• Esomeprazole 40mg: 1 time/day, for 10 days.
• Amoxicilin: 1,000mg: 2 times/day, for 10 days.
• Clarithromycin: 500mg: 2 times/day, for 10 days.
The drug should be taken at least 1 hour before meals.
